Faith Community Partnership: Shining a Light on Mental Health

Join Mental Health America of Lancaster County (MHALC) and other Faith Community Leaders to learn about and discuss the impact of mental health on our congregations and what we can do about it.

MHALC is seeking to partner with Faith Community Leaders to establish mental health ministries and provide resources, education, and support to faith communities regarding mental health services. All people interested in supporting mental health initiatives in faith communities are welcome to attend!

How Does It Work? 

Register to attend the breakfast ($35 per person) OR register to join the Faith Community Partnership Program ($75 for 1st person, $50 for each additional person for the year - includes this breakfast and all monthly trainings including an introduction to mental health ministry and spiritual support groups, QPR Training, Mental Health First Aid Training, Self-Care and Compassion Fatigue Prevention Training, Suicide Prevention, addressing child/adolescent mental health.) If you decide to join the FCP after the breakfast, the registration fee ($35) will be applied towards the program fee.

1. Join us for the introductory breakfast on May 21st. The cost is $35.00 to attend.
2. If you decide to join the program, the program fee is $75.00, which includes this breakfast and provides a year of trainings to the identified individual (mental health champion) for the congregation. Additional persons can be identified for an additional $50.00 per champion. If you decide to join the FCP after the breakfast, the breakfast registration fee ($35) will be applied towards the program fee ($75). 
3. Champions meet monthly from May 2025 to May 2026 to receive:
   a. Resources and referrals for addressing mental health needs in their faith communities
   b. Trainings to help develop their own mental health ministry
   c. Support for existing mental health ministries
   d. Fellowship with other faith communities
